Microchipping

Losing your pet is one of the worst things that can happen to you. Every year many thousands of pets are injured, chased and run away, or are stolen. They stray, get lost and frightened.

Because collars can come off, many missing pets may have no form of identification. Microchipping can help give you peace of mind and reunite with your pet faster.

Each microchip has a unique identification number, which is recorded on the Petlog database along with your contact details. If your pet is found, you can be contacted quickly.

The chipping process is quick, easy and painless. The microchip is a small capsule around the size of a grain of rice, and in the case of dogs, cats and rabbits is implanted in the scruff of the neck by your vet is using a special pre-packaged sterile needle. This is no more painful than a vaccination.
